Wow, 3.5 out of almost 10L isn't very much. I just want to make sure I have enough with me to do the job, and not end up with a bunch of extra bottles of fluid in the basement.

According to the owner's manual, the fluid capacity is 9.8L. Can anyone comment as to how much of that will actually drain out? How much fluid will I really need to refill on a fluid change? Thanks

I have an automatic, not the 5-speed. I didn't see a fill plug above the drain plug.

I have been looking at parts in the US, and the Disco's there used solid rotors until '97 then vented rotors from '98 onwards.

In '98 the Dicovery went from a solid front disc to a vented front disc. Does anyone know if the newer rotors and calipers are a direct bolt on? Can someone point me to technical specs? If it was Disco I to Disco I it would probably be a no brainer, but since it is Disco II to Disco I there...
