I have just changed an injector on my 2002 TD4 via my local 4x4 garage and there is definitely no need to reset your ecu.

All sorted and going better than ever, took it to dealers and put it on laptop and they diagnosed a problem with No3 injector, put in a new a bosch one and now it runs perfectly, cost 200 quid though, thanks everyone for all your help.

Thanks kergoat, yes I have changed the depression filter and valve and I have cleaned and disconnected the egr, I have just checked the injectors and all four is leaking on the return side so I think I have found the problem.

Ok thanks I will check it out tomorrow, if it is the nuts that have come detached is this an easy fix?

Thanks, when you say subframe do you mean wear in the bushes?

It feels like bush play when I try to turn the wheels by hand, I will put it up on the ramps tomorrow and have a good look.

By the way I had the wheels and drums off and all looks good.

No but the vehicle shudders a bit though when braking.

Tried it, not an easy job plus the correct ends were not included, bought a new regulator in the end.

I did fill up with BP Ultima but not the redex, I am still using the BG244 at the moment which cost me £25 (hope it works). Cheers.

Hi Jonier, glad your TD4 is running ok now, mine is still not running right it is still missing, I have tried injector cleaner with cooking oil and now I am on my second tank full but as yet not much difference, I have also changed the maf and this has made little difference too. Kelvin
