thinking of giving up on the damn thing

Sounds like I need some of what you've got. Apparently cam followers were done, heads skimmed and valves decoked. Both gaskets done with payen now sat on my drive and not sure what to do. I wanted to spend a bit on it but didnt think gaskets would go so quickly. Can only assume a bodge job. Live...

thinking of giving up on the damn thing

Thanks for the advice. I took this range on totally blindfolded so have made a major mistake. No paperwork, proof or anything. Lesson most definately learnt.

thinking of giving up on the damn thing

Well it's home with confirmed head gaskets gone. Unfortunately I can't afford to have it off the road or get it fixed so will have to go. I'm gutted but not defeated. Let the fun of advertising and tyre kickers begin.

thinking of giving up on the damn thing

Well still in the garage and no report yet. Got in touch with guy who sold and confirms both head gaskets were done less than 5k ago. Gonna be interesting to see whether they have gone again. If they have I'll be selling and being as honest as possible with new potential owner. If I didnt have...

    LPG Specialists Northampton?

Sorry, Have had it a couple of weeks. Always had Isuzu Troopers but thought I'd test the water with a range (cheap one at that). EAS is dipping nearside on front and rear but DataTek is helping me out. Other issues are just the normal paranoia areas of owning an old 4x4
