Looks like I better get hold of a couple drive flange for a lightweight then.

Can someone help with identifiying what varient and yr this axle is off so I can refer to the correct manual / guide for end float etc. The washer is bolted to the end of the drive shaft. The washer retains a felt seal. After removal of the drive flange it has the normal 52mm hex nut setup.

Still on the same thread even if slightly off track. I suspect the front bush needs replacing on my starter. But looking at the position of the starter raises my question. Is there enough room to remove the starter without disturbing the exhaust?:confused:

Alternatively. Do series 3 doors fit a 2a which is what I have?:confused:

Thanks for coming chaps. I am told the doors are defender and the bar connects to the front internal door handle. The problem I have is the only defender locks I seem to be able to find refer to push button handles rather than external lift. Anti burst wont fit as defender doors have drop...

Help needed to identify model and what year this door lock is from, as I need to replace the barrels. I see 3 problems at present. What lock? What barrels do I need? And how do I change them when I don't have a key? :confused:

Just thought I would ask before I start. How do you get the lock out if you do not have a key?:confused:
