hi im looking at getting a recon engine and gear box fitted to my disco 2 1999 can anyone reccomend someone to do the work and supply them got about £2000 or therabouts

solved it all coolant leak was between water pump and power steering pump drive shaft on p/s pump worn and water leking into p/s fluid causing overheat and pressure buildup new p.s pump and water pump £395 ouch !!

iv got a problem with my disco 2 1999 td5 its started overheating ive put flourescent leak seeker in but cant find and leaks it drives fine for about 15 20 miles fine but then the temp guage rises anfdthe ecu cuts the revs when i slowly rellease the cap the water boils and flys out of the cap bt...

mines doing the same ,its burst two top hoses ive chenged rad pump cap to no avail changed trhermostat too was building pressure all the timne hoses going rock hard changed the cap for genuine land rover one and pressure is not a problem hasnt burst any more hoses (bought landy hose these cheap...
