FL2 2008 TD2,2 automatic shaking and less power

My shaking was all down to one or more seized brake calipers. Would only shake on the motorway when they over heated

    damp inside freelander1

Also check the roof liner is bone dry front to rear as there could be a leak path from the Ariel or the rear window plastic thing

    Freelander 2 (35-50mph) wobble/judder through car body

I tracked mine down to a seized brake caliper as you drive it heats up and has a braking effect the whole car then starts shaking until you pull over to let the brakes cool down. Strange thing is it didn't do it all the time. Had brakes done and its never done it since. That was about a year ago

    Muddy conditions

In my experience with the prop off the Freelander 1, Its best to keep one wheel on the road and welly it to keep it moving if forced into the verge. I wouldn't be parking on wet grass if I were you.

Freelander 2 (LR2) Rear Diff - Filler Plug Specs

That's one of the reasons Bell Engineering had to scrap my Haldex as some Grease Monkey in the past had used an impact drive to do the nut up so tight it cracked the case leading to lose of oil so the discs ground to a paste and destroyed the Haldex.

    Bluetooth issue

I disconnect/reconnect the battery and see if you can either pair the phone to the car or the car to the phone, Mine failed and I haven't got round to following the threads on the freel2 forum yet https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic11565.html?highlight=bluetooth+module

    Is it worth fixing?

I had a recon diff sent to me when I had my Freelander 1 and a local garage fitted which was expensive (£700ish I seem to remember) I guess if you can do the work your self it would save a bit

freelander 1 td4 alarm keeps going off

I had this issue on my old F1, Water was dripping down the inside of the rear windows and collecting in the spare wheel well. Something similar happened to me on my Freelander 2 (What is your car?) , I was told by a so called Specialist that the wish bones needed replaced at great expense and that did not solve the issue. Took it somewhere else and they replaced front rotors & brake pads and told me one of the calipers...
