    So yesterday I found the horn, behind passenger side headlight, disconnected it. Took steering column cover off and inspected wiring, nothing obvious, replaced fusible link. Headlights now working fine but then all hell broke loose! Wipers started up, cue windscreen fluid until tank was empty...

    Had an after market immobilizaer fitted when I bought it. It starts no problem. I'm gonna have a look at the wiring around the stalks today and see if I can spot anything. Thanks for the info on the horn location!

    I'm not sure about the alarm, I'd be surprised if I hadn't noticed it over the years. I don't have any fobs, the keys are just metal. Are they are standard on a pretty 2002?
