Thanks for replys. engine seems to go well. no gunk in oil filler cap. il start with rocker cover and clean block and bulk head up and see. iv heard i will never stop it leaking. going to do all drain plug seals at some point and do breather pipe from overdrive. cheers

Got bored at weekend so started on taking bits off engine as need to do rocker cover gasket. also noted that there is oil on bulkhead/engine lower down so asume head gasket mite need doing. so question is, is this causing oil down there?and do you reckon i can do it? cheers p.s if someone's in...

I was thinking drain hole and some waxoyl. think i may renew all door seals at some point with a continuous strip.as its bits at the min. i assume this will be better. cheers

Is it worth letting professionals do it?think nenes are £399 or would you clean it your self and paint chassis and put some waxoyl in yourselves?i think you can get aerosol cans of waxoyl? cheers
