hi yes my dad was sat in it moving up and down through the gears with the engine running . before the oil level went low it was fine then we put new oil in it now it will drive forwards fine but put it into reverse gear and nothing

hey i have a discovery td5 auto the gearbox oil ran low so i topped it up now have no reverse gear could any one shed lite on this ? thanks geth
