I've fitted disco 2 seats before, very comfortable and quite easy to fit. Mine were electric but I removed all the gubbins from the bottom and bolted, using holes in the frame, a couple of pieces of angle iron then bolted those to the original defender frame. Not sure if there would be enough...

Thinking of getting a soft a bar for the front of my fender, but the damn things are way too expensive! (£400-500!!) Anyone have any idea where I can find one (preferably not ebay, all seem to have been eaten by monkeys) for a fraction of the cost?

Im not a fan of the dc100 as the defender, if it was sold as a different model then fair play. I really do hope that LR don't ruin the defender in its next guise.

As timc1967 said, get some series doors, probably the cheapest and easiest route to take with it.

Been looking at the high back second row seats from Exmoor trim for my 110 for a while now, but worry that for the price they wont be very comfortable. Ive got a 8 hour drive to the wilds of Scotland coming up, I think I could do without the ear ache from the passengers. Anyone know of any other...

I remember when I got my first 110 when I was at college, my old man would say, you could get a mattress in the back of there!! ;) The only trouble was, I had to take all my mates to the pub and be the only one sober :rolleyes:

so just to be clear, £300 for the grill and headlight surrounds? or just the centre grill itself? also do they come with the mounting brackets for the front lights? sorry for all the questions, just very interested and would like to know what you get for the money.

The ones with the round edges you refer to are the deep dish alloys I think. The Disco es alloys (have a set on my 94 110 csw) are exactly the same in appearance to ordinary 16" defender boosts (have a set on my 02 110 dpu).
