That's interesting! At least I can discount hard water deposits as the water is extremely soft. 5 years is ridiculous.:(

Well weirdly, after not wanting to finish the cycle I started it again and it now has done. I think it objects to being turned upside down as, apart from changing the heating element, nothing else has changed on it. I am surprised at the water pressure. In France it can be very high and our...

Flipping DW didn't want to work properly on test. I plumbed it into the cold water to give it a proper test. It would pump out but wouldn't take water in, on a variety of progs. W and I mulled it over, she wanted to kick it but I stopped her! In the end we decided to put the water supply pipe...

Hopefully fixed the DW, sho nuff, one of the rubber -type tubes had shifted slightly so prolly wasn't quite on at the right place. So just go to take a side panel off in order to tie-wrap the waste pipe to where it was before, (which I forgottid to do) although I don't see what it could touch...

I'd change the aux belt at the same time, it can't have liked having to work so hard. Gates or simla.

So, up lateish, (although it is Sunday) About to attack the dishwasher, AGAIN!. :( The test was going so well last night that we started preparing dinner. Then I heard a funny noise come from it and moments later clear water started coming out from underneath.:mad::mad:. So stopped it...

Still miserable round 'ere. At least the wind has dropped away. Can you not order your prescription stuff online? Maybe we are lucky, but if we have stuff on regular prescription all we need to do is fill in a form online and our lovely, 7 day a week, small, non-chain chemists will put the...

Sympathies mate! Last Thursday we went shopping for the first time ever with NO shopping bags! Getting out of our house and away is a bit of an operation what with gates to open and lock back etc, so I put the door keys in the outside part of the door lock and hung the bags next to the lock so...

I have had a Pinto engine in a small trailer under a tarp for about 25 years. And I still have a Domomite Sprint 4 speed plus overdrive gearbox kicking around so long it is only worth scrap now. Stored it outside with no ATF in it. :( So, good on you! I collect parts for projects that I am...

Huh! My 1998 Disco 1 has a heated windscreen which now only clears the passenger side! TBH I have never nissed having one and also I find seeing the fine elements a constant distraction. I'd never go for anything that has as much or more electrickery as a Disco 2.

I have never owned a Rang Rover, all I know is that there is nothing better than a Disco for moving big stuff, even a 110 still has that narrow door. Did they even make a diesel? And does it still have all the electronic poop, air supension etc that I don't want? The whole point is that I am...
