Hi again i've sorted it thanks, first i checked for any leaks but couldn't find any so i bled the system that didn't work so i opened up the master cylinder and there was black crap in it probably the rubber seal worn, so went and bought a new one, fitted that then i couldn't get any pressure in...

thanks ill check tomorrow, also it doesn't happen constantly its just every now and again as in im driving along just fine then all of a sudden i cant get a gear, it did it the other day in second and today in fifth

Hi im quite a newbie to the site joined last week, anyways i'm having problems with my 2003 defender 90 td5...... every now and then i cant get into gear while driving but if i pump the clutch it will go into gear. what the hell is wrong with it?, please help

Hi blue beasty, the sound deadening is just for behind the speakers not to reduce road noise, it wouldn't be a defender if it was quiet, and i love the sound of the TD5 with straight through exhaust.
