Range Rover P38/L322 18" Alloy Wheels

For Sale - a set of four very clean alloy wheels that are original fit to L322 Range Rover 2002 - 2005. The wheels are in very good condition with just a minor scuff to one spoke of one wheel. I bought the wheels with the intention of fitting some General Grabbers for the winter but had them 2...

Hi - I sold my P38 a few months ago after buying a L322 and have some bits I bought as a job lot from another forum member which i am now selling - they are: Bosch transmission controller (ECU). Harman Kardon Sub x 1 XQA100070. Harman Kardon Amps x 2 XQK100210. Harman Kardon Amps x 2...

    Making the leap. P38 - l322

I "upgraded" from a good P38 to a L322 around 7 months ago - no major problems and love the L322 just as much as I did the P38. Much better driving experience in the L322 and the "comfort" seats are great. DB

    Thinking of Selling

I sold my P38 a few months ago as I had bought a L322 and it was getting expensive running the pair of them. I still miss the P38 though, it wallowed in the bends and was slow and thirsty, but it had charm and a certain style :) DB

Sound Issues (diagnostic ran) where is fault?

2004 Range Rover Vouge No Sound from radio/sat nav/cd.

Check the 8 x bolts (4 each side) where the rear bumper/crash bar come through the rear panel - water can come through from the outside (capillary action) and drip into the where the amps are - the plastic bag solution is treating the symptoms and not curing the actual problem - silica gel is...

    LED Interior lights

I did all my interior lights a few weeks ago and it really lifted the interior and gives a modern look. Also did the rear number plate lights and the front sidelights - all with spare LED bulbs I had leftover from when I bought a job lot for the P38 I had. DB

Underbody Exhaust Heat Shield Mat Fixing Clip

I managed to get some small nyloc stainless nuts threaded onto the studs when I looked under my P38 when I had it and the shields had partly come adrift. They cut their own threads and were rock solid when nipped all the way up. DB

    Boot Leak - Solved!

Hi All, I have resolved the water in the spare wheel well problem on my 2004 Range Rover Vogue, I have only had the car for 2 months and noticed that there was a bit of rust on the rear tailgate flap bracket that sits just inside the boot when I was looking at buying the car, after asking the...

    Grill painting

Thanks Paul :) I was going to spray it and tried this stuff thinking it would be rubbish but it was brilliant. One tip I would give is take the grill off the car so you can lay it flat and then mask off the land rover badge and just apply thin coats, spread with a 1" paint brush, just mask off...

    Grill painting

Have a look at ebay item 281366602875 - that is my P38 with the grill done with forever black :) Darren

how to glue the rear mirror

maybe try the sticky pads you attach number plates with - that stuff sticks to anything and stays stuck! Darren

    Grill painting

Before spraying it try a product called "forever black", it is essentially a dye for plastic and it has brought my washed out grey grill and the bits under the headlights back to a matt black - also done the door handles and loads left in the bottle, all for £15! It is easy to apply, just dab...

    DVD player upgrade

By sheer coincidence I tried to play a DVD in my Sat Nav unit and it failed to read the disc - as Datatek stated it is a CD drive, but after I tried it the Sat Nav then kept spitting out the Sat Nav CD - it did eventually load but I was kicking myself for messing around with it for a few mins...
