I dont know what make it is, this is my first month of ownership :D The service record says it had a new rear propshaft about 3000 miles ago. I dont abuse the drive train and i collected the landy i replaced all the oils and greased everything There is a bit of play in the rear drive shaft so...

I think i am going to buy 2 genuine land rover universal joints from land rover I will also buy a complete new rear propshaft from paddocks because it has alot of play in the splines, the last one lasted 3000 miles :(

the universal joints are 94mm and i cant seem to find these universal joint OE for 20 :(

and are the ones from bearmach any good? i dont have a lot of cash at the moment so cant aford the genuine ones. the ones i have seen from bearmach cost around 15 pounds

has anyone experience with the britpart universal joints for a defender td5, the landy is from 2004 any advice would be greatly apreciated.

Has anyone used a britpart hd clutch kit with solid flywheel? And how is it?

Thanks for the reply, what would be easier gearbox out or engine out if i would have to replace the clutch? I have already done a clutch replacement on a 200tdi and that was quite simple, is it any more difucult on a td5?

Thanks for the reply a had not found the search function yet,the clutch fluid is quite dark, would i get away with just renewing the fluid and bleeding, or replace master and slave cylinder? Thanks in advance

Hi, my defender 110 td5 hcpu has a bit of an isue with the clutch, when i put my foot down the pedal feels normal not spongy and with the corect biting point. However if i put the landy in gear there is a slight shock trhu the driveline and the landy rols forward, and it is quite hard to engage...

Hello I have a (new to me) land rover 110 hcpu td5, And i love it to bits, it has a straight trhu exhaust an has been decated, the only thing is we also have another defender and this one seems to be just twice as fast but it has not been tuned or whatsoever so i think is it must be nicely run...

just get a pipe from a slightly bigger diameter then grind a litle sleeve on both ends and then use an exhaust clamp

its aircon, our defender 130 has the same setup
