Torque converter and flex plate have both been replaced recently. No change there. Damping weights are on both front and rear axles and seem ok. Keep the ideas coming guys. It's great to have oter people's thoughts on the matter.

Thanks for the reply, I think I might have been a little confusing though. Mine was actually one of the last of the older generation P38 range rovers and not the new one introduced in 2002. Don't know if this means there may be soem help around?
