    Discovery 2 roof box

Thanks! However i have discovered a "high top" cover for my existing trailer which increases it's capacity 75% so i will go for that (i also fear i would go under a low bridge or car park entrance with a hard top on the roof!):o

    Discovery 2 roof box

Hi all! Can anybody recommend a roof box for my landrover discovery 2 please. And do i need any special type of fixing? We have a trailer but we also need a roof box due to 3 kids, 2 adults and a dog along with a mountain of camping gear! Cheers all:D

I am! but whoever buys my old one is going to be better off!!! As it's not only the ACE i have had replaced. :). brakes, exhaust, airbags........ Not a good buy and i was stupid enough to spend about £4000 putting it right. BUT i am still a Land Rover fan and have bought a newer model (2004...

Big old dent in my drivers door!

Thank you all. I am going to try the taking the inner gubbings off the door and gently knocking a piece of wood first, if that does'nt work im going to use a co2 extinguisher and a hairdryer!!!!!! I will let you know my results.

Big old dent in my drivers door!

Ta! So if i take the internal door gubbings off then it's straight down to the skin? i thought it would be double skinned? If not then to repair should be fairly easy with my trusty rubber hammer. However, i did like the compressed air and hairdryer method, might just give it a go!!!

Big old dent in my drivers door!

    ACE warning light

Thanks, the warning light is only orange at the moment so i will contact a dealer and get it fixed before it goes red! as for the airbag light, it usually does not come on unless somebody plays with the drivers seat so i may just risk that unless of course it's cheap to fix

    Brake pedal rumble

lets say i am travelling down a potholed track, when i brake the pedal bounces along with the motion of the braking car if you get what i mean, it freaks me out a bit but the car still breaks, it just feels as if something is loose but as you say its probably normal. Certainly when it was last...

    Brake pedal rumble

Chaps (and chapesses) If i drive over sightly rough roads and brake the brake pedal really kicks. Is this normal? The brakes pads/discs are fine and it does stop without a problem but the wobble in the pedal is a bit concerning. This only happens on bumpy surfaces, flat road are no problem...

full lock problems on my discovery

That's what i thought at first but if i do pull harder it does turn. For info i have been "experimenting" turning aand it only really seems to happen when i turn right, so it could be i suppose something mechanical. I am getting it serviced next month at a main dealer so i will get them to...

full lock problems on my discovery

Gents, Thanks for all your help, i have checked and the tyres do not seem to be rubbing on the body. I am still confused by this swivel thing so i will bite the bullet and buy a manual unless somebody brighter than me (does'nt take much) can show me a picture of the one i need to adjust...
