i managed to remove the sensor on my freelander with a 27mm box spanner. replaced shorter sensor with longer one and, i still havce same problem...but then after reading this thread i see i may of missed sommit.

Hi All I have an 02 freelander td4, this car was going great guns until on day the EML came on and the car went into limp home mode. i took it to a chap who connected his snap on diagnostics and it came up with Rail Pressure control... my question is this.....can anyone shed some light on...
