BTW when fitting, employ a small child to tighten up the plastic wingnuts. Anyone with full size man hands will toil to get a finger to the top one. :-P

Think so, not sure what re-routing of cabling would be required. I've got indicators in the cluster AND in the bumper.

I'd take the nearside rear light cluster off you if available. Just need the lense, don't know if it's comes as a sealed unit though.

Cheers biglad, spent ages last night staring at the light pattern confusing myself. Easily done. :D Yep, def got LH headlights that need swapped out. Discopol, was that a swap offer? If not, Maurand I'll take you up on the offer... hopefully you're still in the UK.

OR more importantly how do I check what headlights I've got? Just assumed they were swapped for the continent.

Been out to check, alloys still in good shape. It spent the first few years in Devon before heading across the channel so probably hasn't had to suffer gritted roads. Will let you know how they look after it's first Scottish winter!

Could do a bit of it. Met folk in Mozambique years ago who were taking their 110 overland to SA then having it shipped to Oz. Christ knows how much that cost.

WD40 did the trick, just have to areldite the badge back together. Took a tumble and separated on impact. Good call on silicone, will do. As for the gates... sadly that was in France! Over here it's on the street. :-( Just been sitting in the jump seat. Amazing. 6'2" and I just fit!

Overland trip?

Evening all, Been lurking on the site for a couple of months prior to picking up a '98 Disco ES v8i. Spent the last two days driving it back from the Dordogne to Edinburgh. Ran like a dream all the way back. Got home and found that the pesky rear door won't open anymore <groan>. Hopefully...
