Good evening guys, I have a problem. My 2005 l322 td6 won’t start. It’s been happening for a few weeks, slowly getting worse. Now, it won’t start at all. When I put the key in and turn, all the dash lights come on as expected. Turning the key further all I get is what sounds like a Mose code...

Unfortunately there’s only one key with this set. I won’t buy it because of that. I’ve been offered up a few sets from different breakers with 2 keys. I’m looking at about £300 for a kit.

Why is this all so bloody complicated?.

So, if I were to buy a set like this providing that it had all come from the same car and was all previously synced together, I should just be able to replace all of the parts and my problem would be solved?. That would please me, greatly. Thank you for all of the great advice.

Hi, thank you for replying. I’ve just tried what you suggested, unfortunately nothing happened. I do have a question: if I were to buy a set of all 3 locks and an Ecu from a breakers, would everything be synced and ready to go?. Just change the locks, replace the Ecu, hey presto?. Cheers, Andy

Hi, the central locking button on the dash is functioning as it should. I’ve mentioned previously about having to use a key and lock from a breakers to gain entry to the car, which sets the alarm off. When locking the car with the same key the central locking engages.

The central locking was a bit sluggish for a few days prior to it giving up. I thought that this was because the battery in the key fob needed changing. I put in a new battery and this seemed to help for a day or so. But it soon became sluggish again.

Thank you kindly for your reply. The key fob does light up when pressed. The door lock has at some time been changed so, I have a different key to open the door. When using the key, only the drivers door lock opens. The central locking is not engaged. The alarm goes off until the ignition key...
