Just checked the fan this morning and it rotates with a bit of drag when pushed with my hand, indicating the coupling etc are fine....starting to think water pump or rad blockage?? Is there anything else that can cause these symptoms? Cheers

Looking at the engine while it running tonight and notices the fan not spinning, seems the coupling had gone, no drive to coupling whatsoever. Can anyone recommend where to get one from, need one ASAP really?? Cheers guys

Would be worth taking it out and seeing if provlen persists, if it still runs hot could the water pump have failed??

Thanks for the replies, spoke to LR and going to investigate the ht lead problem tomorrow, aswell as pick up a new dizzy cap and rotor arm! Will see how it runs after I've changed these! What do I need to look out for when changing the rotor arm? Read something about holding something else...

Right I've replaced plugs, ran great all be it for an hour and started running rough again and backfiring through inlet, yesterday i bought new leads from LR, fitted them but leads 7 & 8 don't bloody reach (any ideas?) will be ringing them this morning. And also ordering new cap and rotor arm...
