sadly selling my series 3 as doesn't get as much use as id like has a 200tdi fitted with brand new radiator, drums shoes and pistons all round had the canvas roof fitted as preferred the look of it when the engine conversion was done it had a fresh coat of paint all over located in tamworth...

depends what you use it for :) not ideal if your going under 5 foot of water no but makes it nicer to live with as a daily

sadly its time for my 90 to go, loved having her but it doesnt get enough use anymore and we need to free up some cash for our house, shes a 1987 'D' reg the chassis has done 130k and engine has done 140k as the discovery clocks were fitted so it has rev counter and everything works nicer...

engine has gone sorry, not sure what dash it is matey. feel free to make an offer on it and might split it

gearbox, transfer box and engine now gone, still got most other parts + more bits and bobs from discovery, towbar etc

this is the dash, not the best pik but cant find many of it when it was in, has stereo housing etc. my mate has told me its worth quite a bit more all together as can go for upto £250 as a whole. if people want to make sensible offers on it then its there if not il throw it on ebay auction...

she HAS reported everything she knows I do not know where the vehicle is as she is keeping it between her, the police and insurance as she is going by the books frankly i was just updating the lot of you so you all knew what was going on and didnt need to look out for it and anyone it the area...

right are you all assuming that the truck will still be in one piece? let alone drivable? she has fully made the police aware of what has happened and also the insurance company. she is not going on a rampage against fully grown me who dont give a **** what they do, neither am i yes my truck has...

she has told the police, why do people keep missing this minor detail that i keep saying, also it isnt my defender its hers and she doesnt want to get in a fight over it. im pretty sure its not her fault that premiums go up, but more down to people that steal them and bad drivers on the road...

she has informed the police as stated on the first page at the end of the day her truck will be stripped and damaged in which case why would she want it back knowing it has been broken into before? attempting to get it back from a gang of car thieves isnt going to make her life any happier...

and im sure if we got the police involved who as i say are the closest thing to useless then they wouldnt be best pleased either. best not to wind them up really. nobody can stop it from happenin but as i said my truck has a lot more security than hers did
