    Disco 2 air con electrics

You sure there's still enough gas in the aircon system? The clutch is disabled if there's not enough pressure ;). If you have access to a diagnostic (Nanocom, Hawkeye) you can command the clutch relay to work (you'd here it clicking).

    Is it the 3 Amigos

Yes, assuming you aren't going to test its off road capabilities.;) I'm not sure if you still get some form of ABS braking. You can easily check this... no caravan attached ;)

    North west /Cheshire

I do believe there are some. Have you read the stickies on finding green lanes? Is there a group local to you who go out laning?

    Help with ace

You'd need a diagnostic - not sure if both nanocom & Hawkeye can remove ACE, or just nanocom..

    Disco 2 The Three Ameigos

Between now and Monday is there anyone local to you who might be able to help with a diagnostic plug-in?

    tyres

I use Toyo Open Country AT's - great tyre, about £120 each. More aggressive tyres are available, but it depends upon what you want to do with the Disco (extreme off roading or a bit of green laning). Any reason not to get 4 Hankooks? Don't know much about Contis, but are they really so much...

    Disco 2 Oily Exhaust Emisions

I would have said that having a working EGR would encourage more splatter: Have you seen the bliack crap it wants to dump back into the inlet?? ;)

    Disco 2 fuel problems

Put some more fuel in it then! Whilst you're waiting for the tank to fill up - head on over to the introduction section and say hello. Then come back and post up a few more relevant things, such as what disco 2 - TD5 or V8? The TD5 has a purge cycle you can activate...

Disco 2 Aircon fan - 3 bolts for front grille - yeah RIIIGGHTT!!

I should say that I can hear a click when I use Hawkeye for the clutch circuit, so at least the power side appears to work..... :)

The 2.0 EFi Maestro could shift.. ;)

Disco 2 What to look for when buying a Disco 2?

There might be someone in your area with a diagnostic, just ask. The ECU is underneath the battery cover, next to the jack. You have to unbolt the ECU, lift it up and then you can get to the plugs underneath ;)

Disco 2 Aircon fan - 3 bolts for front grille - yeah RIIIGGHTT!!

So... I've never had working aircon since I bought the car 2 years back. Only just got around to checking it out seeing as I was at Emmotts of Colne getting a fresh rear wiper motor. One free nitrogen test later and great news! The system appears to hold its pressure! SWEET! Bad news, of course...

    Disco 2 New wheels.

2001 - it "should" have the internals. Check if there's a spigot suitable for a 10mm spanner sticking out of the top of the transfer box - you'll have to crawl underneath and get grubby!:D Welcome to D2 ownership!

    Welcome to the refurbished LandyZone

As Saint V8 asked, is there a "mark forum read" button/option yet? Ta.

SLABS ECU swap what is involved?

Thanks for the reply SF!

oil level rising, smell of diesel

For the cheap prices of the filters, it's worth doing them again ;)

    TD5 Rear axle knocking?

True fact! The genuine LR parts are actually more like a ball/rose joint with rubber gaiters on it. It allows the linkage to move in more than one axis (which it obviously needs to do, or else why would LR not use a straight poly bush?). Quite pricey - IIRC £41 for the one joint I replaced, but...

Cracked front bumper - Drifter's Stitch

Trillo - I just wanted it to stand out, hence the red tie wraps (zip ties) :D Let us know how it goes with the headlight surround.
