    Ah ok ive done most of that, Ill try it all again from scratch a lot of stripping to do, im happy with crank and fuel pump just cam shaft is bugging me, if I lock pump and crank and release timing belt can I rotate camshaft to correct position, the head was removed when everything was pinned

    if I crank engine over would I run the risk of bending valves/pushrods, how do I check to see if cam is correct or out?? never rebuilt an engine before no problem doing any other work

    Thanks crank is at tdc and fuel pump is pinned it the lift pump that's causing me the problem, someone else worked on the engine and ive a feeling things where adjusted or rotated without me knowing, if I remove plate behind lift pump what should the lobe look like
