Hi bloat1992, the 235 is the width of the tyre in mm the 85 refers to the height profile 85% of 235 and 16 is the wheel rim size where as 7.50/r16 is in inches (good old money numbers) 205mm converts to eight inches so 235's are wider but being an 85 series tyre will be about the same...
