    Like a lot of people have said your needs define your vehicle. If you need the off road capabilities a Defender would be the way to go. But the other qualities of other vehicles should tip the scales, ie. comfort. warmth, safety etc. But good luck with whatever your choice.

    It seems it would easy to set up a sting by police. Are they reluctant to do this or what? Once they show up with the truck to pick up a "vehicle" they could nab the fuc..ers.

    If you have to replace it replace throw-out bearing and the heavy duty arm while its opened up.

    As mentioned in another thread I attached a clear plastic tube to end for bleeding clutch. Works great and allows one person to do it.

    Old fashioned pump oiler can. That's what I used to Top mine up. Lot of pumping but works well.

    As mentioned clutch as well. I'd also do throw-out bearing and upgrade or weld original lever. Check surface of flywheel.

    As well, give serious consideration to replacing clutch, throw-out bearing and upgrade or weld the lever that actuates the throw-out bearing. It is easy and cheap to do at this point in your rebuild. Check flywheel surface as well.

    Was going to order some little electronic pieces of Amazon Prime, for my boiler relay at about $9 bucks each...went to check out and they wanted $70.00 for postage. Told then to get stuffed. Cant believe the rip off. I've learned to check carefully before I click Buy.

    Just bought my Defender and on the trip home ran out of fuel. The needle was a little above the red and the next town was 20K away. I didn't make it. Called BCA and got 5 gallon delivered. A very nice guy also stopped and showed me how to use the little lever to re-prime. Wouldn't work. Didn't...

    Air getting in after you stop motor? If u crack open an injector while someone else cranks it you should get immediate fuel at injector. If not air is getting in somewhere.. (I think)
