Was messing with my 90 (97 plate 300tdi) trying to find a battery drain, dont know how I messed up but did, As a result I lost the red battery light on the dash, ie it doesnt come on with the ignition, I took a peek at the bulb itself and that seems fine, checked fuses in cab and they ok too...

Inexperianced as I am can any body have a look at these pics of my rotting boot and tell me if it is bad in comparison with other Disco1`s, there is one hole near the back and a few more scabs here and there, round seat belt anchors is scabby but solid ,whole lot has been treated with "Kurust"...

Can anyone give me any tips on how to clean my alloys they are "BAD" tried Wonder wheels, tried most of the off the shelf alloy cleaners but when the smell & the foam dissapear all I`m left with is shiny brake dust .
