I am rebuilding a 1979 series 3, The hub caps and half shafts on the front axle are not the same as in the manuals. The cap is flat with a centre pin or guide which fits into the end of the half shaft. There is a rubber O ring seal on the inside. Both seals and one cap will have to be replaced...
