    Remote oil filter - are there different types?

    I went to put a Mocal remote oil filter on the 3.9EFi today and it doesn't fit. The thread on the mushroom plate bit is to0 large (only just) for the filter thread. Am I missing something or are there different sizes - I thought Rover V8s had the same type of filter through the range.
