    Thanks guys for the water leak fix advice. Bypassed the EGR cooler and blocked the EGR output. Everything worked fine for about 5 miles. Driving really well then 90% power loss.     Water loss

    Helo I'm losing water via the EGR cooler on my 2002 Freelander TD4. Garage quoted £800 :( so I might give it a go. Loads of threads about removing ERG how to, pro's and con's but can I leave everything in place and block off the gas input port to the cooler and bypass the cooler leak by joining...

    I wasn't going to join this forum as I know little about Land Rovers and even less about my Freelander, so I doubt I will be able to contribute much but this seems like a friendly forum, and tons of informed contributors so decided to give it a go :)
