My 2003 defender td5 has become really "tappy", only when the throttle is applied. On over run/idle it sounds sweet- very quiet, as soon as the throttle is pressed (tinyest amount) it taps. I have changed the injector seals/washer s but no difference! its becoming really annoying hear it most at...

Bit of a problem- reverselight is stuck on all the time! Have changed the reverse light switch- but hasnt made any difference, so for now i have removed the bulb! Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening? Thanks in advance! Tom

Changed the gearbox oil in the defender (300tdi) last night- put in the proper mtf94, what a difference judging by the colour of what came out it had been in a while, but the change is now super smooth! i would reccomend it!!
