Hi guys really need some advice I've just bought a 2004 td4 and it seems to smoke and sound quite rough till it has warmed up and a strong smell of diesel also I've tried blanking off the egr hose but does not seem to make any difference any advice would be very useful

Hi guys just bought a 2004 td4 freelander and need to replace the vcu and bearings so I'm going to convert it to 2 wheel drive for the moment while I get the prop all sorted , is this a straight forward job and do I need to get a blanking plate for ird box ??
