I don't think the diesels have any ObdII functionality to support Torque, but could be an option for petrols.

    Coolant level

Why, because I asked a sensible question about adding functionality to the car and keep getting 'just check the level' and 'find the leak'? I'd suggest that is more off-putting. Had I asked 'can I fit a coolant sensor instead of resolving my current problem', maybe that would be justified, but...

You are completely missing the point.

    Coolant level

Do you have any pics of that?

    Coolant level

Absolutely. That's why I was really toying with a 'low coolant' warning that means the alert comes well before the level drops to the point at which overheating occurs. I guess nobody has tried anything like the two options that I posted originally - perhaps I'll give one a go.

    Coolant level

That's all very well, but what if I check it on Sunday, get a leak on Monday and blow the engine on Tuesday? And if you apply that logic, I could also check the fuel level with a dipstick, but we are provided with a fuel gauge for that. As I said, I understand the notion of inspection and...

    Coolant level

On Saturday I had (I hope) a close escape with a low coolant level in my DSE. I know this has been discussed lots, along with why does my classic have a level sensor but not my P38, but is there an accepted 'solution'? (Let's just assume that I'm a normal, forgetful human and will not be...

    Cruise control surging

Are you sure it didn't just change down a gear? Were you on a level road or an incline? I'm assuming your speed didn't double as the revs doubled!

    Mot tomorrow fingers crossed!!!

That's a rather nonsensical comment by your mate. Obviously a 4 litre V8 can pass an emissions test, otherwise there would be no large-engined cars on the road.

    headlights and ocd

Park your car 2 or 3 meters from a wall on level ground. Put a bit of card right in front of the light and measure the distance from the ground to the 'cut off' of the light. Then measure the same thing but on the wall. Headlights should drop by about 2%, so that's 2cm for every meter that the...

    2002 p38 alarm default settings

I think the problem arises because you are not understanding what you are doing - when you put the four digits into that box, you are not creating a new EKA code, but merely setting the correct code back into the BECM. You can put what you like in there and save it to the BECM, but until you...

    Body Off Work.

What do you mean by "body off"? The L322 doesn't have a separate chassis like the RRC and P38 do, so there's nothing from which to remove the body, is there?
