F&c what are you driving? disco 200 models and RRC's with the radio down by the range lever can be bastards to put back in, but a full size aftermarket radio will fit eventually. if you can do it.

there not expensive to replace anyway. just make sure you dont move it out of track and that the bolts are all tight enough when you done. remember it is your steering, and if you forget to tightne something up. you could die :) dark eh..

like he says ^ you can rebuild a box yourself yes. theyre probably one of the most simple syncro boxes about. just take it methodically and if you can get a manual it will probably help quite a bit.

your not towing an ifor around are you? :) you say its a hard top? its not the van side skins flapping against the supports is it?

sorry, what im after is to add a 3.5mm jack input to my soundsystem. if it had a multichanger plug it would be easy just to steal the inputs from this. hope this makes things a bit clearer.

you may aswell take your wings off to fit it IMO makes it much easier and you can work on it much better then refit wings after its running.

its a panasonic CQ-C1115n, i dont think its got a mulichanger plug on the back, but is there any feeds i can take from? or any way of wiring it in seperate with its own amp and direct to the speakers?

you can also get t pieces for a stereo, if youre not getting a great reception with your new radio. try putting one of these back in, meaning youll have both the ariels working again.

it doesent look split to me? or is my eyesight bad. that aint a bush its a ball joint and you can see if it needs replacing by geting a mate to wiggle the steering wheel and seing if theres any play in it.
