the uni is checking CCTV and we think were going to go to town and see if anyoen caught something.
a mates just had his land rover stolen. its a metallic red land rover 90 county with silver modulars. Reg H523 CVB
stolen between 11.30 and 9.00 this morning. also had on a winch bumper and winch. a roof rack which had some special tracks on wheels that i cant remember what they are...
due to some pikeys stealing my keys yesterday and thinking i would leave it for them to collect later, i have to get a new steering lock assembly.
after smashing the old one off (which took some bloody work and i could only do it because one of the shear bolts hadnt sheared so i could undo it...
it fecking felt like a mile trust me.. its then when you realise how short hi lifts really are...

it makes life so much quicker when things aint siezed, i was thankful of my application of copper grease when i had to do my post crash stripdown. only took a matter of hours instead of a few days.
had the same problem on langers' 110 a bit back, im sure hell put some pictures up in a minute. we used oxy-acetylene. :) a less expensive flame will do though probably.

my cleaner for the flat says that my room is too much like a workshop now.. propper toolbox, 6 wheels and tyres, landy bits and pieces of steel everywhere haha
the only real damage a snapped cambelt does in a TDI is pride, pushrods, and time to properly time it up again. at a push, you may need to regrind the valves.
