speedo does read out by quite a bit. but i know what speed im doing. bearing in mind it has an overdrive, RRC diffs and 7.50 tyres. and a tuned TDI (the tuning did actually improve my MPG by more than youd expect.

get this. the series 3 does 35MPG at 65. about 32MPG at 75 i choose the 32MPG usually. and no the door tops dont want to flap :)

hit the bottom of the hill already in boost. even in non TC cars unexpected boost can cause a failed hillclimb if you dont know what s what. (not saying that you dont obviously as your conditions are slightly different.)

well i was sure it was an air con tensioner for a 200TDI disco. but all the ones ive seen are different. thats where i got it from. its now being used to tension the water pump belt (in replacement of the PAS pump pulley) on my 200TDI converted series.
