I agree with the chaps above regarding repairs. Do not be tempted with doing a complete strip down overhaul unless this is really your thing, so many are never finished. Keep as a rolling restoration and enjoy each fix/improvement done as you use it.

Pretty much so, had to drive my hard top with no rear door for a while as it was under repair. I did put a spare tail gate on but fumes came in. Best one can do is have the bulkhead flaps open to have a through flow of air. Other rag toppers may have different solutions.

Many moons ago I made the mistake of fitting HD springs on my Ninety. After a fortnight decided I would like my back to last a good while longer and went back to standard. Someone I knew fitted his landy with early Range Rover springs and it rode smooth but rather boat ish in the corners.

My other bug bear other than the no return on thread is the ones with a problem which several of us here give good similar advice on how to sort but the still go off down their own road on what they think the issue is and coming back again with more daft ideas.
