    Get a V8 110 of an 85 landrover.(if you need a reg number to order I can give you mine) . same shape as the facet(barrel type) and a lot cheaper. Mounted mine in the engine bay by the brake servo. I do forget to turn it on some days & it still runs. Yep they are a bit noisy

    How about putting board on top of the seats ?(either on the seat part or back rest) Put a few uprights to support this. Make it so it folds in the middle or in 2 pieces (then You could slide it onto the floor for storage)

    Put the boards on top. Less stress on the metal work. If you done the angle iron method bet you would catch your legs on them unless you remove these after use.

    Right angled adapter on driller but was tight. May have taken the wing off to make life easier. Hardest is the inside/near engine Done this on 2.5 in a S1 Been years since I done this though

    Tie the rope to the rear of the car so when you drive off,the ramps will follow. Saves walking too far carrying them back to the garage

    That’s probally an original relay. Mine were like that. Unsure what relay size these are. I had a (landrover) green 5pin relay laying around & have been using this. If it’s not the relay causing your problem it’s the ignition switch on the rear of the barrel

    You don’t need to do a course. As long as you have a methodical way of taking things apart & can weld you will be good. Have a look through of the threads where people have rebuilt these & you will see what’s involved. Good luck & enjoy.

    They rot in the same places as a disco. Hard to find a nice RRC that has not been butchered. Saw 1 the other week pushed out of a bush make £5k no engine or box(was a 2door but still rotten)

    They have a long power cable length normally ,my relays are on the upright by the radiator for easy acsess. Main power lead is fed off the starter solinoid,saved me going back to the battery. Switching is done off the old headlight circuit on to the relays Only thing I ever noticed is going to...
