Morning All. :D Another decent day (ATM). :) Upon further research the chair is not wicker but "Lloyd Loom" and is probably 1930's in origin. I wondered how the strands were so fine and so uniform. Now I know. :) Ran out of the spray acrylic, have ordered more. No specific plans for today...

Yes, separate black piping was ordered for it. :D

...that the transformation of that old chair has begun. :) First coat of black satin finish acrylic. Needs more, but it is a start. She likes it and that's all that matters. :D

Us too. But, the fixing of internal shutters was too onerous and would end up with 2 big bulky lumps on either side of the bay window. Instead I had CNC cut plywood inserts made to fit inside the window panels. They are papered plain on the outside and with the wall covering tarty chinoiserie...

@Hippo the word ratted has no swearing or connotation other than to an adult. Why the angry face? I specifically did not use the other term because I felt it would fall foul of this rule. If it keeps on like this I may take my custom elsewhere ;)

Excellent pint! I have been ratted on that far too many times. Another one is "Ringwoods Old Thumper" OMG..... it really does make your head "THUMP" the next day. :D

The 1# & 4# plugs are nice and white on the insulators the 2 & 3 are a slightly nicotine stained grey. I'll take that for a DIY tune, it seems fine. After that rolling road tune up all 4 were soaking wet with over-fueling and black as the ace of spades. So me getting it to here by myself...
