    Disco 1 Load space tie down bolts

    Can anybody tell me what thread size the load space tie down points are. M10 are too small, M12 x1.25 and 1.75 are too big. The diameter of the hole through threaded section are 10mm +/- fag paper. TIA

    Amazon sell 4 way stretch carpet material. My friend used it to cover inside of camper van and it worked into all the compound curves and left it wrinkle free. So i'm going to try that. At £37 including spray glue for 2m x 3m piece.

    Replaced and sealed front sun roof, repaired seized motor and all working again. Next refurb roof lining while its out.

    If pulling to one side try swapping front tyres left to right and se if it pulls the opposite way. Cheapest way to eliminate if its a front tyre.

    Check your tyres. I had problem with brakes locking up / abs kicking in a ridiculously low speed and only in the wet/damp. After I checked or replaced everything I got a new set of tyres in desperation as I slid across a zebra crossing nearly causing accident, which fixed the problem. Tyres...

    If you have drums on rear they often "glaze over" and need be deglazed. I generally use aluminium oxide paper to clean rear drums on wifes car before mot. This often shows up on braked test but driving car brakes seem OK. I'd try this before spending money on brake fluid etc.

    As important-clean and neutralise spilled battery acid as will rust through in no time. Bi-carb works.

    Disco 2 abs kicking in at a very low speed

    Check your tyres, had a nightmare last autumn with similar problem, it turned out tyres although they had deep tread the rubber had hardened and no longer gripped properly. new set of tyre fixed it dead.

    If the terminal on the end of the cable is crimped on, it is highly likely the strands of wire are corroded, and the cable needs to be replaced, this is a common problem on a lot of vehicles and often melts fuse boxes on newer cars with high output alternators.

    have you checked harness at door hinges? The wires can break there.
