Surprising what happens, probably because all systems talk to each other so dodgy signal from one sends the rest into meltdown. Goes to show though why sometimes it looks bad but really dodgy sensor or like you say switch.

Go ahead with a egr delete kit that also bypasses the cooler, this should help there. Don’t worry about warning lights as on the m57 of that age there vacuum operated not electric, it does have a fault code for egr vacuum if you hook up a scanner but it doesn’t bring a warning light on (previous...
