I recently retro fitted a unit into my FL, it was just a 70 euro AliExpress thingy but it does the trick. I mainly use it for Carplay, I have to admit that the UI is a bit so so when also using the radio or navigation on the screen itself. Still need to work the USB plug away clearly ;-)

Do you have any pictures of the end result? Looks kinda neat but I am considering something similar for my Freelander 1 so would be good inspiration!

I am picking up a standard frame today and still need to make something on top of it. Initially I wanted to build something fully from scratch (https://framecomplete.com/). But guess now I’ll just be building a loose rack for on top :-)
