Hi, I'm glad to say all the remedies have worked on mine & touch wood I've had no leaks, as said the Captain Tollys stuff in the gutter with sikaflex afterwards has done the trick.

Funny I got a Siemans maf for my D2 & the LR emblem had been ground off, all other markings were identical to the genuine one ! It's still working a treat when I check with the live readings on my Foxwell.

I must admit those rear a/c pipes do take up a bit of space. I will look at some battery dimensions, perhaps a 50 amp/hr will do to run my 45 litre fridge/freezer & compressor for tyres/air bed when camping.

Thanks for that. Typical mine has the rear A/C :rolleyes: so I'll have a look to see if the pipes look like they will get in the way, there must be some way of 'adjusting' the battery carrier to suit.

Hi all, are there any dedicated aux battery boxes for a D2 TD5 or are they generic items ? I've seen pics of installations but not a break down or links to anything. So if anyone knows of a box that will fit ( on the bulkhead where the optional FBH would go) it would be very much appreciated...

Hi, I can't remember what filter I put in mine but all I can say is you have to be careful fitting the new one, when I took the old filter out the o-ring on it had been cut in half as the pressed steel filter has very sharp edges where the o-ring fits.
