Thanks so much. Have already modified both triangle bolts now, used a dremmel and put a screwdriver slot in each, works well. Moving the plate did what you said, it seems to be idling smoother/cleaner but it still won't rev after backing the throttle off, it will on startup if I start it on +50%...

Better news I guess. Have now managed to start with throttle pressed fully, it will rev now from about 1100rpm up, below about 1100rpm it will drop back to idle and not rev again until restarted with throttle pressed fully, any clues?

Took the top off, looks okay? Needle moves to half way when ignition is turned on, nothing when pedal is pressed, no more movement. Hearing a buzzing noise tho, have posted a video.

I was only going to remove the top cover to check the throttle movement, is there a pin under there?

Yes the wiring seems okay. Am gonna whip the top off to see if it's all okay in there.
