Mine had a new head on it last year due to the plastic bleed screw snapping inside the thermostat causing a blockage, its done 180,000 and still pulls like a train, so I wouldnt worry too much. Just do as DaveK says and get it upto working temp making sure it pulls well

I haven't, are they the ones on the banjo bolt what the leak off pipes attach to or are they on the actual injector. Cheers

Ive had this annoying leak from my disco 300tdi, at first thought it was engine oil because the spots on the drive were black but it turns out it was diesel collecting dirt etc as it ran down the block. Found the leak off pipes were brittle and split so replaced these. At first thought job...

thanks for that, I've given the block a good clean around the vacuum pump so will check it over tomorrow and report my findings! :D
