Just had a look in a spare lamp unit I have (2006 s/c) if you remove the the main bulb rear cover there is a lever which can be moved up/down, which looks like it moves the deflector in front of the build HTH.

Could still be low voltage from the battery, check it is park and cycle through PND and try wiggling steering wheel and also press the brake pedal, just a thought?

The annual inspections here are as stringent as most in Europe especially on emissions, they even fail for scratched or faded paint! My point was Tata can make reliable vehicles LR can't and they all basically **** in the same pot.

The irony of this is the parant company produce buses used in there 1000's here and the GCC that are a damn sight cheaper and are more reliable, go on to give years of service cover 1000's miles relatively trouble free and are cheap to maintain, rickshaw technology with a copy cummins b series...

yes probably and all the employees are Arab which makes it even worse, dealer was ok when the brits were running it, you did at least get shafted with a smile!

If it is the same as a sport/disco you need a small key with a red plastic top to unlock it before removal if not the same then no idea?

+1 on the tightening, had same on one of mine found anti roll bar clamps loose, tightend bolts bit awkward but cured it, also check sub-frame mtg bolts and top strut nuts had them lose on one causing similar thing.

Take a look at the heater control valve, mounted on the N/S inner wing (In the engine compartment) has three(maybe four) pipes an electrical plug and has two round pots on the top, one for each temp control in the cabin, check pipes for heat in/out power to the connection, known to fail, well...

Think it's time you looked in the left rear quarter panel for water ingress as well if you want to save all the sat/nav and stereo gubbins from water damage?

May be the cost of the coil conversion would have bought you a decent diagnostic kit and the parts to fix it??
