Looks like you've done well there, looks like it's got a black eye from the crash :D That is an early Discovery 2 headlight (they are just the same, only with black inners. I painted mine to look like that. Once you've got it straightened out, it sounds like you've got a gooden!

I've not got any pipe etc to bypass it with, and I already have new seals for it. But I think maybe I'll bypass it when the weather is nicer. Sounds like it won't have any adverse effects if removed then

That would explain it. Most of my metric spanners are embedded in the underneath of my disco anyway after my hissy fit yesterday. I'll try a 5/8, thanks!!

Hi all, I can't get the sedimenter off my disco to clean it. I've located the bolt, it just seems to slip when I put my 11mm spanner on it, and the 10mm doesn't fit. Have I got the right size? If so, what are my other options? I got very dirty and very angry.

Does the disco 2 have a cabin filter? If so, would be worth changing it just in case. My first car had a very stale/doggy smell inside which turned out to be the cabin filter. I tried spraying the filter with all the air fresheners in the cupboard for a quick fix. That just made it smell like a...

I love the attitude you have towards this project - saving a poor old disco from the scrapyard and adding a touch of customisation to the interior. It must be so rewarding. I wouldn't dare tackle all the melted electrics! Liking the beige and chocolate theme - it works nicely. Much better...

Looks awesome! Love the yellow. I'd love a set of those front light guards. Anywhere in particular to get them? I've seen the odd set on eBay from time to time but they seem to get expensive.
