v6 is 2001 the 1.8 is 2000 so as with all things will need diff one for each car no doubt :mad::D

can someone help point me in the direction of where to get a code reader and which one to get??? i have a 54 reg td4 my mate has just purchased a v6 with poss gearbox problem and another mate has a 1.8 so we thought might be better in the long run for us to all chip in to get a diagnostic...

will get him to try that, no he arranged a bloke last week but he never showed, so he's trying other little things before he trys someone else

hello again he finally checked the oil today and said he ran it for about 10 mins as its not drivable and removed the allen bolt and oil runs out?? does this mean its been overfilled ??? would this cause the no gear problem??? as said before revs drop when selecting all gears but no...

had 5 mins today so i got him to turn it over and revs did drop when gears selected???? so would this rule the solenoids out??? never had chance to look up on checking the fluid level yet
