to chip or not to chip?

What Data is saying make sense, if a transmission system is designed to deal with a maximum torque band then increasing torque through the drive train will mean that eventually something has to give way. Just off tangent, on the Fiat forum MJ diesel owners have been chipping their engines to...

    More problems with my dhse.

enry Try this website, it will save you dropping the fuel tank fuel treatment - combat the diesel bug with Eradicate fuel biocide. You will need to becareful using this stuff and after 2 days refill with fresh derv, and change your filters, but it will be worth it.

The temp gauge on mine sits at 10 oclock, when towing my twin axle caravan it mover just fractionily past 12 oclock on hills, but returns to the 10 oclock poss when back on the flat. As for the black gooey stuff in the tank, I had the same when using Bio Diesel in my lorries, it caused all...

Painting the plastic interior trim to look like wood...

I fell foul of actually fitting one of those kits to my P38. Looked good once fitted, but on the odd really hot days last year the heat from sun made it seperate from the sticky backing that held it in place to the dash. I personally wouldn't go that way again for a wood effect. So I had...

    Wood Veneer Dash Trim

Don't buy these kits off Ebay they are cr*p, believe me I did and last year with the sun on the days it came out, and got hot the top "wood" effect seperated from the base and curled up. I would look for the original wood kits, a bit dear but worth the cost. Alan

    CANYON's the man

Well the time came for me to change my in tank pump today. 99k on the clock and the pump was tired, the fuel gauge was nearly 1/4 of a tank out. I remembered some time ago CANYON posted photos and measurements, so last night I measure twice and cut once two of the three cuts. This morning...

    merry (bah humbug) christmas

Merry Christmas all. This is very tongue in cheek, but 18 months of owning a P38, no real problems, just think at 99,000 my in tank pump needs to be replaced. But I know where the best place is for advice and a laugh. Happy 2011 to all as well. Alan

I had a similar problem with no interior, key barrel, or puddle lights. Was going to disconnect the battery and reconnect but that seemed a bit of a ball ache. Found that if you push and hold the interior light button on the front over head cluster you get a bleep and a message saying int lights...

    potentially dangerous GEARBOX FAULT

Hi Bernie I had a very similar fault years ago on another make of vehicle, after a lot of checking and digging about in the electric system it turned out to be no more than dirty connections on the electric fuel pump. My symptons had been the engine cutting out, especially when exiting...
