if you buy a pattern seal set, then you will never get the outer dust seals to go in, because they are just rubbish. even if you buy a genuine set (girling, etc) you might still have problems fitting the outer seals and end up replacing the calipers.

the later rear screens are rounded in all 4 corners so wont fit the earlier rear doors. not sure if the change was made 300 - td5 or sometime later during the td5 lifespan. i have a high level brake light which came already fitted to my 300 by someone and is all ok. let me know if you want me...

before you go down that road, have you checked your heater water pipes. on my 300tdi with the engine at normal temp (on the gauge anyway) if i then disconnect one of the pipes from the matrix i just get a lack luster flow of tepid water so the heater is doing the best with what is has but...

What sort of minimal lift do you need for 35" tyres? I think my 285/75/16 bfg muds work out to be 33" and are ok with no lift.
