Quick question regarding RAVE and Transfer box drain and refill. I had a good look through , no mention on how to do it..? Although I did find the capacities for refill states 2 litres and motorfactors are saying 3- well which one is it?

Forgot to ask about the transfer box. Does this have a filter? How do I check level? Is there a DIY guide? Tia.

Wasn't planning to change the filter...but maybe you know something I don't- is it worth doing? from what I can tell it just a strainer more than a filter??? Also I don't have a dipstick, does this mean I wont need that 30mm spanner? When I refill how do I get the new oil in do I need a pump...

Defo it's the battery, you can get duff new ones ! Low battery will mess with locks and becm etc.

Wait for message to dissapear from dash, then try again. Replace fob batteries. Do a fob sync first, insert key into door, turn and hold anti clockwise whilst pressing the unlock button for 5 secs. repeat but now clockwise and with lock button pressed for 5 secs. you will see the fob light...

It's your eas driver pack or air pressure sensor playing up.

What test did you do on your fuel pump? They can still seem to work but sometimes not enough fuel pressure ( it gets tired/lazy). There is a proper way to test, someone will probably tell you how in a minute.

Mice in the garage? have had a neighbour who found out a mouse was trapped in the exhaust once. Not much left of it except the tail once he floored it!

I just used a can of brake cleaner from the pound shop, sprayed the trim from a distance and the fluff just slid of easy, quick wipe with a paper towel and put it all back, looks better than new. I had considered recovering them with some leather, but I am happy with the outcome.

I just used bell wire, working great so far.
